3 Image Poems

Poems can be as simple as an image, which can be complex in meaning. But most of all, poems should be easy to read. Below are three short poems that qualify.

On top
a wooden
I wrestle
an empty
page, my mind
strains to
fill the paper
with soft
relics of why
I stopped
in the lush grass
as the silver
glistened upon
buried rites
and years

The Poem

some say
is a drunk
bottle floating
along a muddy
river's enjambed

A Blind & A Decisive Mind

the soiled curtains
that hang upon
my dusty window
sills are not
getting washed today.
I have no extras.
